The entire hospitality industry has been taken aback as a result of COVID-19. Almost all brands shut their doors in some way once quarantine began, but as restaurants and retail stores begin to look past COVID-19, the primary goal is to create a positive and safe environment for both customers and employees.
In addition to posing safety issues, COVID-19 has caused the extended closure of a number of stores for as long as three months. Reopening a large number of stores at once offers challenges to both in-store and operations teams that in many cases, will require special training and new procedures.
